“Oui”, “yes”, and very soon “ja”! Foller.me can now recognize special French symbols and French stop-words. This means that all you fantastic French Tweeps out there can now analyze your followers and easily decide to follow back or not.
Thanks to web-media coverage from Presse-Citron.net and TweetNews.de Foller.me has set new aims, seeing the purpose of multi-language support. With Russian and French support already added and German, Spanish and Arabic ready for take-off, Foller.me will endeavor to add languages like Hebrew, Maltese and Hindi (maybe even Chinese ). If you would like to see Foller.me’s support for your language – feel free to mail us your stop-word lists.
Thank you for your support.

Hey everyone! I’m very glad that most of you are loving and actually using our service, this makes us wanna move on. We had a lot of talk about Followers Geography lately. It seems that you people are very excited about that part and here’s the good news. Yes, we will extend it, fact. Not only are we removing the 500 map points restriction (yup, we sorted things out with the Google API and we’re now able to display any amount of points on that map) and, of course, integrating the new pagination system, but we’ve also got a little surprise up our sleeve ;)
Also, the Foller.me API is on its way together with the Foller.me Widget for WordPress, and we’ve got another little feature coming up that I’ll keep secret for now. I’ll just say that it has something to do with Follow Fridays ;) and it will be totally fun!
I won’t post any deadlines because we never know how much time it may take to come up with something new (we’re working for free here, remember? ;)
Stay tuned tweeps!

Well, I’m not sure that I have to write about it once again, cause I already did in my personal blog, right over here: Foller.me on Startups Live TV, but anyways.. Lemme just say that the show was awesome, catch the recorded version of the Foller.me episode here: Foller.me on Twitter and I’ll Foller Back.
Thank you Charissa Cowart and Dannie McClain. Thank you Startups Live TV.
Update: Startups Live TV has been shutdown. *sigh*

Hey everyone. I know you’ve been waiting for this moment and due to hard work this weekend we’ve managed to release the Followers Geography beta to the public, hence the announcement, although you might have already noticed it working yesterday evening (there’ve been a few tweets too ;)
Anyway, this Followers-on-a-map thing isn’t going to stop at 500 (current limitation) followers. We’re taking this a step further in the upcoming months and hopefully give you a full working Geo-based Tweeting Machine.
Check out Followers Geography in the Foller.me Extend section for more information.
This week was surely a great one. We’re now handling over 7000 cached Twitter profiles and still counting! The Followers Geography section will be up and running this weekend, and all this thanks to you and your contribution to the project! So here go our first few shoutouts to the peeps and tweeps we couldn’t have done it without.
We would also like to thank these guys: @CMoz, @timothypost, @SoulSeekah, @rudevich, @bkmacdaddy, @featureblend, @enked, @nomadone, @bengillam, @karlsutt for the overall feedback, help and support. Thanks so much guys!
I hope we didn’t miss anybody. If we did, please let me know ;)

Good news! We’ve just released a handy bookmarklet for quick access to Foller.me while viewing profiles on Twitter.com! Just drag the bird below onto your bookmarks and enjoy! Clicking the bookmarklet while viewing a Twitter profile will take you directly to that user’s Foller.me profile.

Oh, and if you have any problems with that, please report to this page: Bug Reports. Thanks.

Wohoo! Foller.me is now officially declared open for public! Hurry! Call your friends! Call your friends’ friends! And their friends too :)
Yes, everything’s going according to plan, and we’re releasing a couple of more features this month after we beta test on our development version. Our next goal is 5000 unique profile views, then perhaps 10,000 and after that.. Well I guess we’ll go top-secret, for many reasons (no, not for advertising ones).
Hope you all have a great day and enjoy your stay at Foller.me!
P.S. Thanks to everyone who has somehow commited to the project, and we’ll be sure to give you shoutouts later this week. Keep the suggestions coming, tweeps, you’re great!
